I know it's just my opinion, but I believe I have the two best-looking children in the world. One day recently, after arriving home from work, I was sitting on the couch watching Treehouse TV with Liam and Morgan, and they seemed far more interested in looking back at me than they were in staring at the 'toob', so I got up and grabbed the camera and snapped these. Best thing about the pictures to
ME is that the expressions they're making, they're making toward me and no one else, so I've taken to staring at these two particular shots all day when I'm at work for that very reason, however selfish that may seem. Makes the day go by faster when I'm missing my babies. It also reminded me of a goofy little song I barely remember from years ago that went, "I was lookin' back to see - If you were lookin' back to see - If I was lookin' back to see - If you were lookin' back at me - You were cute as you could be - Sittin' on your Daddy's knee - When I was lookin' back to see - If you were lookin' back at me"
I have no idea who the performing artist was...I think I heard it on a TV show when I was a kid - either The Beverly Hillbillies or Bugs Bunny - something like that...and I don't even know if it's a 'real song'...but it seemed to apply to this moment.
My daughter is obviously a pixie.
