Kinda self-explanatory.

JB: At the age of 48, I became a father to twin babies born at the end of November 2005. Life for me has changed dramatically since I started to post my tributes to these beautiful children, For one, their mother and I are no longer together. My personal challenges have changed substantially. I now must be the best Dad I can possibly be - with limited exposure to these two people who I love so very much, and to do my best to not become embittered by my circumstances. My goal is to keep being as good a Dad to them as my father was to me. (Tall order, because my Dad was amazing.) For me, noodlin' used to be when I'd sit quietly and practice on my bass guitar, back in my 'working musician' days in the late 70s and early 80s. For my soul, I should get back to doing that again, because I know it would feel good to express myself through my music. (Remind me to make time for that, will you?) This blog, however, mostly represents the noodlin' that goes on in my head about these two wonderful little people, and how they've made my life better beyond measure. It astounds me that they're now reaching an age at which they're old enough to read it.
