Certainly, they've always known about each other on some level. After all, they traveled together in pretty close quarters for about 33 weeks, bumping into each other on a regular basis. Shortly after they left that very safe and warm environment, and joined us here in our world, I used to be able to hold the two of them together rather easily in my arms. It takes a little more work to do that now, and I have to somehow have a hand free while I hold the two of them, one on either knee, to keep one or the other from accidentally poking their sibling in the eye. They're always reaching for each other now when they're in close proximity, and - a couple of nights ago - they
really started to notice each other. They stared at first, made sounds back and forth, and then laughed uncontrollably at each other with that beautiful unbridled baby's laughter. It was a laugh with which you couldn't help but laugh along. It was wonderful. They were holding nothing back, belly-laughing and squealing as they lovingly looked each other in the eye, as if to say, "You're kinda fun to hang out with!"
I can tell them both with full exclamation.
They are definitely fun to hang out with.
Janne and I hope they'll always be each other's best friend.
